RENI event in the news.

On 19 February, RENI's lecture event 'Takagi Reni to Ojama Shimasu (means 'RENI will visit you.') in Itoigawa', which took place in Itoigawa, Niigata Prefecture, was shown on Youtube as a video news report by FNN (Fuji News Network).

Itoigawa is a small town of about 38,000 people, but as one of the world's leading and oldest jade production centres, it has been designated a UNESCO World Geopark.

The event was held at the Jade Museum, which serves as its base.

There is a reason why the event was held in this small town.

YOSHIMI Yajima, a well-known member of the MCZ staff in the early years of the group, who was in charge of production and other activities, has been living in this town since she retired.

She was a well-known name and face of Mononofu, as many events were held with her name attached, such as 'the Yoshimi Restaurant' and 'the Yajima Parade'  with MCZ's past major live shows.

She left the company in 2016 and returned to her hometown of Itoigawa, which was hit by a major fire disaster shortly after.

Since then, YOSHIMI has been involved in various town initiatives that have also been part of this recovery.

RENI commented on the event as follows.

I thought it would be good if I could bring my fans and get to know the good parts of the town, so I hope I can build bridges in my own way.

RENI says that she would like to hold such Local Contribution Talk events in many places this year to meet Mononofus from different parts of JAPAN.
