Another new song has been announced.

Yesterday, Rakuten Golden Eagles pitcher Masahiro Tanaka updated his Youtube video and announced that his walk-up song will be performed by MCZ again this year.

According to Masahiro, MCZ will be producing a new song for his walk-up song  again this year.

At the moment, the song is not yet finished, but the Japanese professional baseball season starts tomorrow, Friday 29th March, so the day when this song can be heard along with Masahiro's performance on the field will soon be here.

(However, according to the latest information, Masahiro will not be in the starting pitching rotation for the start of the season).

Masahiro Tanaka has been using MCZ's music as his walk-up song since 2012.

Masahiro achieved a record 24 wins in a year in 2013, and the following year he moved to the United States.

He played for the New York Yankees from 2014 to 2020, during which time MCZ's music was also used at Yankee Stadium.

He returned to the NPB in 2021, but his record over the next three years was poor, going 4-9, 9-12 and 7-11.

However, if he wins three more games this year, he will have a record of 200 wins in Japan and the USA, a feat he is expected to achieve.

According to Masahiro, the new song is

"a song that turns on the switch that says the game is about to start and we're going to fight".

Hopefully MCZ will be able to support his success.
