KANAKO in the spotlight on the passing of a major composer.
Legendary composer KIDA TARO has reportedly passed away at the age of 92.
KIDA TARO was known as the 'Mozart of Naniwa ('Naniwa' means Kansai region)' and was active for many years, mainly in the Kansai region.
His connection with MCZ dates back to New Year's Eve 2017.
When KANAKO introduced KIDA TARO, who sent a video comment in support of Kaori Shiono on Momoiro Uta Gassen, KANAKO referred to him as 'Kansai's CHIN-JU' instead of the original 'Kansai's JU-CHIN'.
JU-CHIN means 'grand person' in Japanese, but CHIN-JU means 'rare beast' in Japanese.
The audience laughed out loud, but when KIDA TARO learnt of this incident, he sent a video comment to the Momoiro Uta Gassen the following year, in which he personally introduced himself as 'I'm Kansai's CHIN-JU', which once again caused the audience to laugh out loud.
This was an opportunity for TARO to deepen his connection with MCZ, and was loved by Mononofus.
And TARO also composed the official membership song "Tenshi no Kane (means 'Angel's bell')" for MCZ's fan club ANGEL EYES.
In response to the news of his death, KANAKO wrote on MCZ official website:
When you appeared on Momoiro Uta Gassen, I made a mistake in introducing KIDA-san, but you kindly turned it into laughter, thank you so much.
I also have the best memories of making the fan club song with you and the teachers together.
I pray for the souls sincerely.
