The car that carried MCZ since its formation has been scrapped.

Yesterday, when MCZ's producer KAWAKAMI delivered a recent update on InstaLive, he announced that his car, a Granvia, had been scrapped.

The Toyota Granvia driven by KAWAKAMI was the mobile vehicle used by Momoiro Clover from the time the group was formed. (To be exact, it was originally used as a transportation vehicle for Erika Sawajiri, an actress that KAWAKAMI had worked with before momoclo.)

The Granvia was designed based on the Hi-ace, a commercial vehicle, and is not considered to be a comfortable ride.

However, Momoiro Clover during their indie days toured the country in this car for a total of 12,000 km.

The Granvia was discontinued in 2002 and is no longer available for purchase.

According to KAWAKAMI's report, his car has traveled 530,000 km so far.

And KAWAKAMI's Granvia had an LCD monitor on the ceiling inside the car, which allowed the driver to watch DVDs.

Momoiro Clover commented that watching a DVD of ARASHI's concert at the National Stadium here inspired them to think that someday they would like to hold their own concert at the stadium, and it also served as a catalyst to set the direction for their future.

The Granvia was also featured in a 2013 issue of an outdoor car magazine (see cover image below).
