AKARI is divorced.

AKARI Hayami, a former member of Momoiro Clover, announced today on her Instagram that she has divorced.

AKARI joined Momoiro Clover in 2008, but graduated from the group in 2011 after their performance at Nakano Sunplaza's “Haru no Ichi daiji (means 'One Big Spring event')" live.

She has since transitioned to acting and has been active in a wide range of TV dramas, movies, and stage productions.

In July 2018, she announced her engagement to a company employee in his early 30s, and in December of the same year, she filed her marriage certificate, announcing the birth of her first child, a girl, in November 2020.

Also, as previously reported, she made a surprise appearance at KANAKO's 30th birthday live this summer and performed a duet song with KANAKO.

The following is a translation of the message that AKARI attached to the Instagram post of the all-white image.

To all of you who have always supported me.

On a personal note, I would like to inform you that I am divorced.
Although we will be going our separate ways, we will remain irreplaceable partners.
We will continue to support each other as we move forward in life.

Meeting him was a very happy event for me, and I am filled with gratitude for the many experiences and treasures he has given me over the past 10 years.

I will continue to take each job seriously, never forgetting to enjoy it, and do my best in my own way.

I hope you will warmly watch over me.

Unfortunate news but at least she sounds positive. Wishing Akari the best! I love that she has built herself a solid acting career since leaving Momoclo.
