Mayor Aiming for Revenge Applies.

MASAHIRO Fuke, mayor of Kashiwara City, Osaka Prefecture, has announced to X that he has applied to be the venue for next year's big MCZ concert, "Momoclo Haru no Ichi dai ji 2025".

MASAHIRO has been mayor of Kashiwabara since 2017, now in his second term; he is a young 48-year-old mayor.

Last year, he posted the same information about his application to X. Unfortunately, the venue was decided to be Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, and it was not selected.

In this submission, he commented, “I will try again with upgraded content,” indicating that his enthusiasm is still high.

In the photo of X, an official city envelope and a document titled “Letter of Intent to Attract and Cooperate” can be seen.

Kashiwabara City is a suburban city located on the border of Osaka and Nara Prefectures, and is famous for its grapes and wine.

Personally, we hope that Kashiwara will win the selection because it is close to where we live, but it is only about 50 km away from Kameoka City, the host city of last year's event, so we fear that the fact that it will be the second year in a row in the same Kansai region may work against us in the selection process.
