No HIKARU this Christmas.

HIKARU Yamamoto, who has performed at many large-scale gigs and tv program as the bassist of MCZ's backing band Downtown Momoclo Band, will apparently not participate in this year's MCZ Christmas concert (Momokuri 2024).

In addition to the Downtown Momoclo Band, HIKARU has been touring live as the support bassist for YOASOBI in recent years and so on.

Last year, HIKARU also joined a four-piece band called 'Aooo,' whose vocalist is former 'idolrenaissance' and 'Akai-Koen' member RIKO Ishino, and has been expanding her activities.

Aooo has now announced that their 1st tour “BOWWOW” will be held in Aichi, Osaka, and Tokyo in December, of which the Osaka show is on 12/22 and overlaps with MCZ's Christmas live at Saitama Super Arena.

Aooo will release their first album “Aooo” on October 16. The Music Video of one of the songs, “Salad Bowl,” is available below.
