MCZ has been chosen as the theme song for the ekiden again this year.

It was announced on the official X website of the Shizuoka Ekiden that ‘GODSPEED’ by MCZ has been chosen as the theme song of the 25th Shizuoka Ekiden to be held on 30 November.

The song was also used as the theme song for the 23rd and 24th competitions, and this year will be the third consecutive year.

The song was also released in 2019 and has been repeatedly used for long-distance running competitions such as the 36th All-Japan University Women's Ekiden and the 4th Saitama International Marathon.

Again, it will be used in future TV and radio features about the event.
