KWKM turns 50.
AKIRA Kawakami, the creator of MCZ and manager of Momoiro Clover since its formation, celebrates his 50th birthday today, September 10.
AKIRA was promoted to director of Stardust Promotion in 2013 in recognition of MCZ's success, and in 2015 his title became “producer” instead of “manager."
(In light of this, this website refers to KAWAKAMI as “producer”).
He is now reported to be an executive officer of the company.
On X, a hashtag “Akira Kawakami's Birthday” has been set up among Mononofus, and many photos, comments of memories, and messages of appreciation have been posted. You can see them at the following link.
Although at first glance, AKIRA may seem difficult to relate to, he always puts MCZ and Mononofus first, and his behavior has endeared him to many fans.
